Well, here are some things you can do to make it happen:
1. You can do interval intensity cardio. With this type of cardio, you switch between low and high intensity with your aerobic routine. The reason it is beneficial is simply because you get the best benefits of both low intensity cardio and high intensity cardio all wrapped up into one workout. Lower intensity cardio is great for losing stored fat and higher intensity cardio is great for boosting your metabolism (which will prevent more fat from being stored).
2. Do resistance training. Building lean muscle tissue (and you DO NOT have to get huge muscles) will in fact burn off stored body fat since it increases your metabolism... and your resting metabolism.
3. Do low intensity cardio first thing in the morning. If you do some type of low intensity cardio (such as walking) first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, you can burn off stored fat!
4. Do a naturally metabolism boosting diet. A diet such as this is typically based around implementing specific eating patterns that will trigger the release of fat burning hormones... which in turn will cause your stored excess fat to melt away!
Bottom line, if you want to drop 5 pounds a week, it is HIGHLY possible to do if you focus on doing things that will burn off stored body fat.
